pop of color

    Pop of Color

I love a good pop of color. Adding in one bright color can be an easy way to start introducing more color into your home or wardrobe if you tend to stay around neutral colors.

Since buying a home I've started to notice pops of color on doors, with flower beds and with outdoor furniture in my neighborhood.

This adorable pink door on a house in my neighborhood has completely captured my house heart.

It is also really simple to add a pop of color with outdoor chairs {we have bright green ones on our porch} or some flowers!

Inside I've learned how to pop some color in my own home to create a statement without going overboard {especially now that I have my husband's taste to take into account too!}.pop of color with pink in home office

I have a little bit of pink accents in my office. Our bedroom has a bright red chair among more neutral colors {white bedspread, wood dresser and side tables and navy curtains}. Our living room has an emerald green loveseat. It's simple statement pieces that can really create that WOW!

With fashion I've always loved a pop of color whether through jewelry (like a necklace or stack of bracelets}...

or even pink lipstick!

Are you a fan of color or does a bright shade of a pink make you want to run?I'd love to hear! Leave a comment below!
